The Examinacion of Donell ô Donelan of Dun Clun Laughlan taken before vs whose names are hereto subscribed on the behalfe of the Comonwealth concerninge the Murtheringe of an English man whose name is vnknowne, by Edmond ô Hora prisoner this 30th of Aprill 1653
This deponent s beeinge duly sworne by the holy Evangelist saith that bee at beeinge at ClunLaughlen aforesaid in Springe last was a twelve moneth that hee did then and there here Edmond ô Hora nowe pri prisoner in a <A> boastinge manner tell vnto some Toryes that were there present and others of the Countie whose names the deponent doeth not nowe remember takeinge not much notice of it at that tyme, that hee had killed an English man about Castle Garr in the County of Gallway, and that the said Edmond shewed them a paire of breeches which hee then had on which Breeches hee said hee tooke from the said English man when hee killed him and further saith not.
