The Examinacion of Edmond ô Hora nowe prisoner taken before vs whose names are herevnto subscribed concerninge the death of an English man whose name is vnknowne the 30th of April 1653
Beeinge duly examined saith that about Lam m as 1651 vpon the High way betweene Ahascra and Castle Garr that hee did find an <A> English youth on their way wounded on the head whome hee conceived to bee killed whome hee stripped and drewe him neere a Ditch with an intencion to bury him but finding a little breath in him hee left him there, (and beeinge a Tennant to Mr Georg Yelverton) w hen went to the said George Yelverton and told him what hee had seene, wherevppon the said Mr Yelverton sent for him the said youth to his house and there did keepe him till hee was Cured and then sent him to Dublin
This Examinate further Confesseth that hee did in a Jesting waye say at Clun Laughen as is in the deposition of Donnell o Dowlen expressed that hee this Examinat did kill and stripp an English man, and that these was his breeches which hee then ware But sayth that hee is able to make it appeare by good Evidence that the man name was not killed but Cured as aforesaid
