The Examination of William Baker take{n} before Captaine Henry Lestrange
<A> Saith that he was at Sruell the day that the murther was comitted on the English in the begining of the warr, and that he was one of the said English whoe made theire Quarter at Castlebarr, and obserued one John Kendricke then liueing in the Owles Manus ô Hubane Dauid oge McWilliam, Robertt bane Ruttledg; & William oge ô Nuan, then and at Sruell to be of the Lord of Mayo his guard and likewise obserued Edmund Kelly, and William Kelly of <B> Dunemona to be at in the said Lords company to Sruele and as likewise alsoe obserued, Allexander McEnnis of Gallen barrony to be in the said Lords company, and Miles Rochford to haue accompanied him alsoe, but what they acted, then at Sruell the Examinant knoweth not, and doth conceiue the said persons haue not left the towne of Sruell, together with the Lord of Mayo, the cause of his knowledge is that one of them being named William Kelly brought away one of Mr Bohanna his sonns.
