The examinacion of Katherin McMahowne the wife of Brian McMahowne of Dundalke in the County of Lowth aged twenty six yeares or thereabouts taken the xxiiijth day of June 1654
Who beeing duely sworne and examined deposeth and saith That about the begining of the Rebellion, Patricke McCollo Roe McMahowne and Hugh Ramer ô Calan, and seuerall other <A> Rebells hau e ing se whose names shee remembreth not haueing seised on the English and Protestants in the towne of Carriggmccrosse in the County of Monaghan and kept them prisoners vntill the first day of January 1641 the examjnant did then see the said Rebe Rebells carrying to the Gallowes at Carriggmccrosse John Jackson George Greene and an other person whose name shee remembreth not all Englishmen and Protestants and Inhabitants of the said towne, and there the said Rebells in the examinants viewe did hang the said John Jackson and George Greene and the other person whose name the examjnant knoweth not, vntill they weere dead amongst which Rebells the examinant did see at the said gallowes the
