Capten Pattrick Hume of Moyglasse in the County of ffermanagh doeth acknowledg him to owe vnto Thomas Bringhurst Register of the high Courte of Justice errected in Dublin for the vse of the Comenwealth the sume of ffifty poundes ster: to be levyed of his body goodes chattles landes tenementes and hereditamentes for the vse of the Comonwealth aforesaid vppon Condicon under written dated at Iniskillin the first day of Aprill 1654 _____ L li. ster
The Condicion of this recognizance is such, that if the aboue bonden Capten Pattrick Hume shall personally appear before the lord president & other the judges in the said high Courte of Justice or any other Courte or Courtes shalbe directed, to giue evidence on behalfe of the Comon wealth according to his Examinacion dated with these presentes taken touching the Murthers & massacre Comitt{ed} by the Rebells the 25 th of [ ] December 1641, vpon Thoma{s} Trotter and other protestantes at the Castle of Tully in the County of ffermanagh And shall not departe {the} said Courte or Courtes without lisence of the said Jud{ges} That Then this Recoginzance to be voyde or {otherwise} to Remaine in full force
