Richard ffawsett of Towrah in the County of ffermanagh yeoman doeth acknowledge himselfe to oowe vnto Thomas Bringhurst gent Register of the high Courte of Justice errected at Dublin the sume of ffifty pounds ster to be levyed of his body, goods and chattells, Lande tenements and hereditaments for the vse of the Comon wealth of England vpon Condicion vnder written dated at Iniskillen the last day of March 1654_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ L ster li.
The Condicion of this recognizance in such that of the aboue bounden Richard ffawsett shall personally appear before the Lord president and other the judges in the said high Courte of Justice or any other Courte of Justice in Ireland (as by sumons from the said Courte or Courtes shalbe directed or required) And there giue evidence and make partie on behalfe of the Comon wealth according to his examinacion dated with these presents (taken) touching the murthers & massacre comitted by the Rebells and particulartly against Thomas McRory McGolbrick Phelom O Muldoone, Capten Hugh Booy McSheane og McGwire Lieutenant Neill McEdd McHugh serjeant Hugh boy O Managhan, Corporall Edd O Managhan, Corporall Edd O’ Managhane And one Tirlagh o fflanigan the 25th day of December 1641 vpon Theo Trotter and other Brittish and protestants, at the Castle of Tully in the said County of ffermanagh, And shall not departe the said Courte or Courtes without Lisence of the said Lord President & other Judges there That then this recognizance to be voyde, or else to remaine in full force
