The Examinacion of Edward Sanders of Meas aged 34 yeares or there aboutes taken before me this 3 of May 1653 who being sworne
Sayth that he being prisoner at Newcastell in the County of Downe at the begining of this Rebellion saw the vnder named persons two or three howres before they were put to death, And being demanded what the Executioners names were that put them to death sayth that he remembers the names onely of two of them to w{it} < Con: o Donnelly Donell o Gorman > Conn o Donelly & Donelly o Gorman his Cause of knowled{ge} is that he saw the said parties after the Execucion bring in the said peoples Clothes into the said Castell whose shirts were bloody & that he knew one suite of the said Clothes which was worne by Mr Tutch Minister of the Newry and also sayth that he was informed by some of Sir Conne Magenniss servants then in the said Castell that the said persons vndernamed were put to death by the order of the said Sir Conne mc Genness and further saith not
