The examinacion of Will: Noland of Caren reagh in Kilwarlin in Com: Downe aged thirty yeares or thereabouts taken at Lisnegaruy 2 May 1653
Who saith that at the begining of the Rebellion he was in his Mr Rich Dobbs house at Lisnetrunk with another fellow seruant of his named Owen o Dermott his master haueing ben fled to Belfast for feare of the Enemy [ ] & in the night there came a party of the Irish vnder the comand of one Lewy Oge o Haughian (as this examinant heard from his said fellow seruant who is now dead) who did break open the doores when they were asleep in their beds & stripped them & also they took away all his masters goods but did not see anyone they killed but & this examinant heard afterwards from John Abram & Archibald Johnson that there was two men kild hard by, to that by that party but he did not see their Corps nor know their names &c
