<symbol> The examinacion of John Abram of Moyragh in the County of Downe Husbandman aged fourty or thereabouts taken 19 Aprill 1653 at Lisnegaruy
Who saith that he being an Inhabitant at Lisnetrunk in the said County of Downe neer Lisnegaruy, one night being in his owne house there in January 1641, & in company with him in the said house Jennett Palmer & Rich: Watsons wife, & Will: Noland was in Richard Dobbs house hard by, & one John Spratt a Scotch man in the next house: There came in the one night Lewy Og O Haghian & about fifty or sixty Irish men, & gaue fire att his doore, & brooke open the house, & robbed & stript all the said persons, & kild John Spratt, & another man (whose name he knowes not) & left this examinant wounded on the head & body with eleuen wounds for dead; And being demanded who are left liueing of that company, he saith he remembers not any aliue now that he saw there but the said Lewy Haughian & one Henry Duffe O Hamill H a[h] uill, & for the rest he knew they were kild or hanged since (as Dauid Muldees - who was hanged at Lisnegaruy, & another of them) & further saith not/.
