The examinacion of Anne Moore of Port fferry in Com: Downe aged fifty yeares or there abouts taken 13 May 1653 vpon oath
Who saith that she & her husband Edw: Moore liued in the parish of Ballinderry at the begining of the Rebellion & they remoued from their owne house being all the goods which they had therein were taken away by the Irish party vnto one Phillip Kelly being a neighbour of there owne where they taried one night & the next morning after this examinants said husband Edw: Moore went vnto one John Porters hard by to heare what newes was there & buat his comeing into the said Porters house he was apprehended by seized vpon by one Cullo mc Knogher, & others whose names she remembers not being to about the number of six persons from whence he was taken a little way & was killed by them And the cause of this examinants knowledge is that she chanced to look out of the said Phillip Kellyes house towards John Porters vpon which this examinant hasted after her said husband soe fast as possibly she could but before she could come vnto him her said husband was killed & the Irish had left him full of wounds And she further saith that she saw the Corpes of one Hugh wild which was murdered at the same time by the same partyes And she saw his entrail{es} comeing out of his belly And did heare among the Irish where she was a prisoner that one Patt Oge O Hullan was amongst them when the said murders was comitted and further saith not
