The examinacion of Katherin Greame Singlewoman aged 20 yeares or there abouts, & seruant to Mrs Jane Elly of Kilmakeuit, in Com. Antrim taken the 15th of March 1652
Whoe deposeth that aboute a fortnight after the Rebellion, being the day Maior Rawdens house was pillaged; she saw one Collo o Cnogher & Pat: oge o Hallan, & 2 or 3 more whose name shee knowes not, but heard priest o Hullan was one of them, & they came into John Porters house of Kilvlta with their Swords drawne, & there kild in that howse one Hugh Wild a Tayler, & another English man a Tayler being there fled out of the house & they all followed him with their drawne Swoords in their hands & tooke him & killed him vppon a little hill not farr from the said house, but which of them killed him she did not see; nor which of them wounded the said Hugh Wild, but shee sawe their bodyes after, & the said Hugh had many wounds vppon him, & the other body vppon the Hill had 3 wounds about his hearte, & those murdrers inquired after this Examinantes father, Georg Greham, whoe was since kild in seruice, to haue kild him, but he had hid himselfe in a bogge, there being noe other men, in place but onely woemen & children, and being demanded if any of those women & children be aliue, saith she knowes of none but heard latly that one of the said Taylors wife is liuing in the Claneboys & that John Porter tould her soe./
