The Examinacion of Isabell the wife of Daniel Kerr of Derrickighan parish in the County of Antrim taken before vs the first day of March 1652
<16> Who being duely sworne & examined saith That her owne & late husband James Kerrs lifes were saved after the Murder at Portnaw by John McMullan Ever McMullan & Angus McMullan who dwell now neere Portnaw for the space of about two Moneths <A> after which time they escaped to Ballentoy house where after ten daies her said late husband James Kerr goeing out from the same house about a Muskett shott & an halfe to fetch spring water for one was sicke he together with his Sisters sonne called Robert Moore was Murdred as she heard & as the Brittish
