The Examinacion of Mary Willson aged 40 yeares or thereabouts taken before vs the first day of June 1653
Who beinge duly sworne and examined saith that she was in the Ile of Magee att the tyme of the Massacre Comitted vpon the Irish there beinge left to keepe her brother William Willsons house, who was gone into Scotland . . that night when the said murther was Comitted a party af Scotchmen (all strangers to this Examinant) which she heard were of Leiutenant Linseys or Capten Adares Company; Quarteringe att Balleymenagh brought with them to this Examinates Brothers house; where this Examinate then was) foure Irishmen whose names this Examinate remembreth not (whom after drinking a while with all the said Scotchmen tooke out of the house into the feilds, and there murthered them all, and further saith not
