2) The Examinacion & Deposisicion of John Stephens of the Irish Quarter in the County of Antrym: aged 25 yeares or thereabouts taken before vs this 19th of Aprill: 1653
Who sayth that hee this Examinate going to Temple Pattricke, about a month a fortnight <B> after before Cristmas last, desired to speake with John White, now liueing neare temple pattricke, & for that end, sent one to him, & that he the said John White came to this Examinante, and he this Examinate asked him whether hee were att the killing of Turlogh Magee & James Magee his sone, and that therevnto the said John White answered that what hee did hee was put to doe, and that afterward this Examinate and John White went together to Teigh O Monyes house where they stayed all that night & that the next morneinge one Quarter Master Jackson being in their Company perswaded, the said John White to giue this Examinate some money to putt vpp the busines, vnto which hee the said John White yeilded & accordingly offered this Examinate about twenty shillings, that he should not prosecute him the sayd White, in the presence & heareing of the sayd Quarter Masterr, Teigh O Money and James Payne: & further sayth not
