The Examinacion & deposicion of William Magugen of Kilmackened{y} in the Parrish of Killfodd & County of Antrim who being sworne before vs this 19th of Aprill, sayth
That hee this Examinante aboute Candlemas in the second yeare of the Rebellion came to temple Pattricke to vissitt his wife, & that then there was a great Allarum in the Countrey & Collonell Cammell, then Quartering there aboutes with his Regiment of ffoote, Comanded that some <A> Irish man should bee taken & brought aliue to him, to giue Intelligence and that the same night Turlogh Magee was taken from his house and brought before the said Collonell as hee this Examinante was Informed And further saith that Andrew McIlwyan tould him that hee had brought Turlogh Magee before Collonell Cammell & that hee was permitted to goe home, and alsoe further saith that the sayd Turlogh Magee with his sone were killed, eastward from temple Pattricke, aboute musquett shott from the Towne, by John White, now liueing att Balleykooshen; & Thomas Macomson of Congraney aboute two miles from Temple pattricke as itt was then generally reported, and further sayth nott
