Who being sworne sayeth that att the beginning of the Rebellion, he dwelt in the parish of Carncastle in the Baronny of Glenarme, That his father hauing sent him this Examinat, together with his brother and sister from the Castle of Balleygelly (where they were for shelter) to the barne about three quarters of a mille distant, to fetch some corne, That while they were in the barne cleanning the corne, six horsemen of the Irish came upon them whereupon this Examinant, with his brother and sister fled and were pursued by the foresayd six horse men, who did ouertake this Examinants brother and sister, but he himself escaped, by leapping into the riuer and gott ouer at a place where [ ] the horsemenn could not well followe him: This Examinat sayeth that he knewe Bryan O Mullegan and John Brookes to be ofe two of the sayd six horsemen And that Bryan O Mulligen pursued hardest after this Examinat This Examinat further sayeth that his brother Henry Jameson was [ ] caryed by the sayd horsemen (as he this Examinat after heard) to Glenarme and that he neuer saue him after that; And his sister Isabell Jameson was keept prisonner by them, seauen or Eight weekes
And he further sayeth that he heard by the Generall report of the Countrey that the foresayd Rebells, hanged his brother Henry ouer the bridge of Glenarme
