The Examinacion of Edmond Knowles of Carrigfergus Blacksmith against James mc Iveah taken the 25o March 1653 being Aged about 45 yeares
Saith
That at the begining of the Rebellion hee Livd at Lissan in <A> the County of Tirone, To which place there Came James mc Iveah & Henry ô Hagan, & Entred into the howse of One Andrew Yonge whoe sould Beere & strong waters, & there continewed drinkinge most part of One Night & about two a Clocke in the morneinge, the said mc Iveah, as hee the said Examinate was Certainely Informed stobd in the belly the said Andrew Yonge that hee presently dyed, but for noe Cause giuen by the said Yonge that the Examinate Ever heard of, And further saith that Murtogh ô Condry that Lives neare Lysnegarvye And Edward Hudson dwelling neere Carrigfergus Can giue further Information Concerning the same & further saith not
