The humble Peticion of Alexander Askins
To the Honorable the Commissioners of the Revenue of Vlster
Sheweth vnto your honors that in the first yeere of the late rebellion in Ireland, Collonel Myles mc Swyne tooke away in his Custody <A> and keeping the valewe of Two hundred pounds worth of your petitioners fathers goods and Chattles, which hee converted to his owne vse and refused to giue your petitioner any satisfaction for the same, pretending that his Capitulation doeth free him of all such like facts done by him, which is the desire of your petitioner that hee might appeare and first Cleere himselfe of the Murder laid to his Charge, which if hee can free himselfe, of that, (hee may the sooner) bee freed of what robberies hee hath done if his Capitulation doeth Cleere him, So it is may it please your honors that your petitioner doeth Conceive that if hee cannot cleere himselfe of the murder laid against him that hee is as lyable to giue Satisfaction for what robberies hee hath done, as for the Murder hee hath committed:
May it therefore please your honors to take the premises into consideracion, and to graunt your petitioner a warrant directed to what officer your honors shall thinke fitt, for the seasing vppon the goods, Chattles, and Corne of the aforesaid Collonel Myles mc Swynes and the same to put vpon Security vntill the aforesaid Collonel mc Swyne appeare and answere your petitioners Suite,
And your petitioner shall allwayes pray
