As supplied, LanguageWare  can process modern English vocabulary and syntax.  However, the EME of the Depositions poses significant problems, arising from grammatical variability, e.g., -eth endings on 3rd person singular verbs,  erratic punctuation and a  wide range of orthographic variation. These differences were a serious challenge to LanguageWare’s applicability  for the project.
