Between 2007 and 2010, the ‘1641 Depositions’, 20,000 pages of witness testimony collected by government-appointed commissioners on the rebellion by the Catholic Irish in 17th century Ireland, were transcribed and digitized by researchers from Trinity College Dublin and the University of Aberdeen.
