The Examination vppon othe of Charles Toole servant vnto Mr Golburn

Saith that hee was in the Companie of the Rebells and vnder the command of Collonel Sutton when the said Sutton came to take possession of the Castle of Leslipp And hee heard a Message deliuered vnto the said rebells from the Servants of the said Sir Nich: White the substance of which Message was that they the said seruants of Sir Nich Whites would [ ] shoute att the said Rebells to make show that the said Castle of Leslip was not deliuered willinglie into them handes of the said rebells & soe theire Master and Ladie might bee free from blame But that they would bee sure not to hurt by theire shooting any of the said Rebells & accordingly this Examinant saw the said servants of Sir Nich: Whites entrusted with the Castle after makeing some shot to noe purpose wheras the might haue killd a 100 if they had pleasd deliuer vp the said Castle and noe man hu{rt} of eyther partie. And this Examinant further saith that Sir John Dungan knight imployes a servant frequently vnto the Cyttie of Dublin by name one Brimingham who vpon his returne from this Cyttie constantly resorts with intelligence vnto the
