The Examinacion of Nickolas Stafford Esquire taken on behalfe of the Commonwealth concerninge the aforesaid Andrew Scurlocke
<to the 1st interro:> this deponent sath thi that as this deponent verelye beleiueth the said Andrew at the begininge of the Warr did liue with his father Rowland scurlocke at Rosslare in the Countye of Waxford then the Irish quarters and that the said Andrew did sunne after remoue himeselfe to Dublin and as this deponent hath Credablely heard did List himselfe and serue as a souldier <n> in the Company of Sir Arther Loftus but how longe the said Andrew did soe serue this deponent Knoweth not nor hath heard
<to the 2 interro> this deponent sath that the said Andrew did remou{} himeselfe from Dubline aforesaid in the first yeare of the Cessation vnto his aforesaid ffathers at Rosselare in the County of Waxford then the Irish Quarters the occation of the said Andrews returne to his father was [ ] <o> by resone of the seauerall [muitacions] from his said father whoe was then verye aiged and sicke and weake and dyed not Longe after

<to the 7th interro:> this deponent sath that he beleiueth that the said <p> Andrew did take the oath of association in the yeare 1646 or thereabouts this deponent Conceauinge that none was sufferd to liue in the Irish quarters Except did take the said oath
