Ralph Waddington of St Johns gent aged sixtie foure yeares or thereabouts deposeth concerning the said Donnogh mc Teig Jordane of Tomnemorris gent That the said Donnogh mc Teig Jordane was with Sir Morgane Cauanagh Danyell his sonne and others of the Conspirotors that intended to surprize the Castle of Dublin about the 23d of October 1641: with whom the said Donnogh was taken prissoner & detayned for sometime in Restraynte & afterwardes escaped thence & came to his former dwelling but by what meanes he escaped this Examinant knowes not The certaintie whereof the Deponent was informed of by Walter Lacie since deceased, And further saith <a> That after the said Donnoghs escape The deponent did see him the said Donnogh come to Eniscorthy in Armes with Sir Morgan Cavanagh the grand Rebell & promoter of the Rebellyon against the english where the said Sir Morgan kept had the Inhabitants of the countrey thereabouts to assemble to aduise of the furthering their designes relating to the promoting the said Rebellyon at which meetings the deponent did see the said Donnogh after his escape as aforesaid which he conceiueth to be before the 10th of Nouember 1642: and further saith not
