The Examination of Lt: Collonel William Bourke taken the 5o of November 1652.
<A> Sayth that hee Commanded att the sige of Cullin as Lt Collonel to the Lord of Castle Connell, and that Collonel peirce Welch Commanded in Cheife att the begining of the Seige, and that after the Seige was drawne off A small party was left to blocke vpp the Castle, hee further sayth that sum persons Cuminge out of the Castle the party that lay before itt fought with them, and sum were killed on boath sides two of this Examinants Company, butt how many of the Castle party hee dooth nott know, hee sayth that hee had his Commission from the Lord of Castle Connull and that the said lord, had his Commission <B> from generall Barry. and further sayth nott that Math Hiffernan, & Garrott English were present when the persons aboue mencioned were slaine, & further sayth nott
