The Examinacion of Blaughlyn Hart the taken the 11th of September 1652
<Sayeth:> That at the begining of the warres about the first of ffebruary there was a meeteing of the Country at Aith field, where this Examinantt was, & as he was goeing from that meeteing he mett with donnoug{h} Mounteyne & John mc William O hey & diuers others who [ ] meeteing together went to Mr Linchcomes house to drinke some beare & aquavite on purpose to be merry, & after they had stayed there an houre or two or three houres tooke the said some of them & William Oge o hay tooke the said Linchcome to the foresaid meeteing & that day the said Linchcome was retorned backe into William Oge Ohey’s Custody as formerly he was, where he with his wife ff parte of his family & much goods did remaine vntill July following, aboute which tyme (as this Examinantt heard credibly reported) the said Linchcome was hanged by William Oge O hey, daniell Sarcina & John McWilliam O hey: & some others, And further sayeth that Linchcomes wife (as he was credibly informed) was sent by some of William Oge O hey’s servantts as a Convoy towards kilbrittaine & was hanged by them by the way: And this Examinantt further sayeth that touching the death of John Burrowes & his wife & sonne that one tyme speakeing with Mc nacrimine aboute it, the said Ma nacrimine told him that he did hang the said Burrowes & his wife, but he had orders from Mc Carthy for the doeing of it: And further sayth not:/
