The further examynation of Richard Hart taken before vs the day & yeere aforesaid
Whoe being examyned on his oath aforesaid further sayth That he hath credibly hearde & beleeueth <A> that Bartholomewe White the father, Thomas White James White & Patricke White his sonns were about Christmas 1641 were hanged or caused to be hanged by David Rawleigh by order from the Lord of Castle Conell, He further sayth that he hearde that David Rawleigh came to the house of the said Bartholomewe White at Ballyea & first plundered & Robbed him & that about a fortnight after he came with others & tooke the said Bartholomewe White & his sonnes Thomas White James White, Patricke White & Addam White & carryed them to Ballynitty alias Whitestowne, and that the said David Rawley there hanged or caused to be hanged the said Bartholomewe White Thomas James & Patricke, but the said Adam made his escape He further sayth that when he caused David Rawleigh to be apprehended for the said murder he the said David tould this Examinant that he hanged the said persons by orders from the Lord Baron of Castle Conell
