The examination of Mary Adams of Athlone taken before vs whose names are vnderwritten the day and yeare abousaid beinge duly sworne and examined sath.
That shee was at Athlone when William Hughes and Henry Jones this deponents father in law weare Murdered vpon the warren of Mounckland about Haruest tyme which was in the yeare 1642, and this deponant further sath) that her Mother in law Mrs Mary Jones beinge in Companie with her Husband was <C> wounded at the tyme and place, by one Connor Ô Boyle as this deponant beliueth, The Cause of this deponants knowledge is, that shee was present when her Mother in law Mrs Mary Jones did seuerall tymes declare vpon her death bed, (it beinge about seauen dayes after shee was wounded as aforesaid
