<Mallow March the 9o 1653> Deposicions taken Concerninge Redmond Burke Esquire of BallymcCragh in the Barrony of Ardraghan County of Gallwey & Province of Connaught, in the yeare 1641

Allexander Moore of Moyalloe Gentleman Aged fforty one yeares being Duly Sworne and Examined Saith
That hee Knew the said Burke in the yeare aforesaid liuinge at BallymcCragh aforesaid,
That hee Might haue Remoued into the English quarters as Severall of his Neighbours did (and Did Not)
That hee Did Contribute Assistance to the Irish then in Armes,
That hee Robbed and Plundered the English of their goodes & Chattles
The Cause of this Deponents Knowledge is, that hee Rented a parcell of Land from the said Burke, And that hee came to his house. & tooke away his goodes from off the said Land, & the Deponent further saith that the Said Burkes Mother Kept a Garrison of the Irish in her Castle wherein shee liued, and that some of the goods that her sonne tooke from him, were Carried thether for their sustenance
