That vppon a sunday abowte the begininge of January, presentlye after the { } began, this deponent amongst many others ridd out as a trooper vnder Mr Jo{ } { } through Macharymorne, and that he saw fowre men abowte the water of { } with soe many swords in their hands as he thought, but sure he is { } Andrew English had at that tyme & in that place a naked sword { } and their was one slayne their at that tyme by those fowre, bu{ } durst not goe to see who he was, for feare of his lyfe, and as he { } (he doth not now remember beinge soe longe since, by whom) that ot{ } Tolane that was slayne, neither did he know the other three { } with him at the tyme and place aforesaid and more saith not
