The Examinacion of Cormacke ô Dullenan of the Parish of Loughgall in the County of Antrim yeoman taken before the vs at Colerane the said 16th day of March 1652
Who being examined saith That he heard that his brother Hugh Dullenan & Patricke Dullenan & the McAtteers & diuers others <A> of the Irish who are all since dead as is reported soone after the Murder at Portnaw killed some of the finlayes & five or six more of the Brittish who were fled into Ramoane Church for shelter & that he was not then there or neere the place And further he saith That he did not see Hugh Hill or Gilbert Garrell & his sonne kill’d at Portnagree & that he never was present where any were kill’d except one Thomas Skimmin & his son whom this Examinant had hid in a Chest to save them & that Art oge ô Neile of ffewagh his Regiment comeing vnto his house the night before the Clough was taken by him & James McColl McDonnell they searched his house & finding the said Skimmim & his son in the Chest where this Examinante had hid them the said Art oges men tooke them out & killd them in his garden And further he saith not
