The Examination of Ever McDonell aged about 26 yeeres: taken at Carick fergus the 5th of May 1653
Sayth that at the beginning of the warre And before he dwelt in the Parish Kilsleauy in the County of Armagh where he continued a fortnight after & then went with his ffathers Company vnto the Clancary Glancaruy his ffathers name Mulmurry McDonnell:/. Being demanded how long he was in his ffathers Company sayth he never served in it as officer or priuate souldier & that about a moneth after the beginning of the rebellyon his ffather was slayne before Lisnegarvy & that afterwards his cousin Hugh boy McDonel comanded the said Company & further sayth not /.
