The Examination of John Peter, aged about fourty yeeres, taken this 16: May: 1653.
<20.> Who being sworne sayeth That in January 1641 he sawe one John Dauison of Glenarme killed by one Thomas McGlary now of Glenarme, The which McGlary gaue the sayd Dauison a thrust in the syde with a pyke the head whereof strok in Dauisons syde, And that Germin Mcclister & one of those that were with the said McGlary did with a sword strick off a peece of the sayd Dauisons skull. This Examinant also sayeth, that he also saw an other of the sayd Irish company named John McKillup a Scottish higlander strick the sayd Dauison with the broad syde of his sword, upon the shoolder, And & the sayd German McClister forced him to [ ] strick the sayd Dauison, And that this Examinant was vpon the wall of Glenarme Castle, and saw what is aboue aforesa related, done below the foot of the wall
