The examination of Will: Howell aged two and thirtie yeers taken the 19th May: 1653
<D> William Howell of Clanbrazill in the County of Armagh husbandman duely sworne and Examined deposeth and sayth, That about 5 weekes after the rebellion begun [ ] in 1641; He being at Armagh had quarter with some others to goe in to a{ny} place he pleased, And that therevpon he fled vnto Mountjo{y} where he continued for the space of five weekes, And that dureing that time he observed and saw that Turlogh Groome Ô Quin did commaund in cheife, And there continued cheife commaunder of the rebells when the deponent left the sayd place, which was about 10 weeks after the rebellion begun.
