The examination of Will: Howell aged two and thirtie yeers taken the 19th May: 1653
<D> William Howell of Clanbrazill in the County of Armagh husbandman duely sworne and Examined deposeth and sayth, That about 5 weekes after the rebellion begun [ ] in 1641; He being at Armagh had quarter with some others to goe in to a{ny} place he pleased, And that therevpon he fled vnto Mountjo{y} where he continued for the space of five weekes, And that dureing that time he observed and saw that Turlogh Groome Ô Quin did commaund in cheife, And there continued cheife commaunder of the rebells when the deponent left the sayd place, which was about 10 weeks after the rebellion begun. And further deposeth not.
